Daloa - a Bustling city in Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), West Africa

The seat of the Upper Sassandra Region region, the city of Daloa is located 90 west miles from Yamoussoukro, which is the nation's capital.

Daloa is one of the cities in Côte d'Ivoire where malaria and Buruli ulcers are still prevalent. These illnesses are due to the unhealthy environment and lack of modern medical care. That's why The Good Morning decided to do something to improve children's health there.

Daloa has about 300,000 inhabitants in an area of 40 square miles. A bustling city, the Bété, Gouro, Gnaboua, Gnédéboua and Kouya people live side by side with many other ethnic groups (Baoulé, Malinké, Senufo, Akan, etc.), as well as many foreigners (Lebanese, Italians, French, etc.)This heterogeneous population is spread across fifty neighborhoods and thirteen villages.
